TELEHANDLERS

Telescopic handlers are broadly used in sawmills and at farms as well as construction and transportation companies. The telescopic handlers more and more frequently replace tractors with telescopic handlers and forklift trucks in agriculture and forestry. The major feature of telescopic handlers is their universal nature to perform multiple tasks. They are fast and manoeuvrable and they can easily replace forklift trucks. With small dimensions and steering system they easily enter places where tractors with loaders would not fit in. Small dimensions, manoeuvrability, compact structure are the main advantages of telescopic handlers with maximum reach of 10 m and up to 4100 kg lifting capacity and can be sued if agriculture and forestry.

Despite the growing popularity of such machines, one may not forget that agriculture is just one sector where they are used. The offer of telescopic handlers  is extensive and as a matter of fact only few of them are suitable for agriculture. It is not often that a need arises at a farm to carry a load of 16 tons (Manitou MHT 10160 Turbo) or lift a load up to 30 m (Manitou MRT 3050). This is however necessary in construction or transportation companies or in forestry.
